Super Beetroot Smoothie


Beetroots are an amazing source of antioxidants and essential minerals including folate and potassium. They have a great earthy flavour that lends itself well to green smoothies and citrus flavours. They also help aid in overall digestion and cleansing of the body, so including beets into the diet is a great way to maintain a healthy diet and keep your internal systems in check.

We create a special beetroot juice blend called C.A.B.A.L.A., which uses a combination of apples, carrots, beetroots and lemons to improve overall health, particularly in the eyes, heart and skin. This recipe is a slightly different variation on a classic that uses fresh fruit and our Ginger Tonic for a vitalising and nutritious hit through the day. Really one of the best smoothies you can make at home, plus it’s very quick and easy to prepare.



  1.  Place the beetroot in a blender and add half the Ginger Tonic.
  2. Blend until smooth. Add the rest of the ingredients and blend well.
  3. Enjoy
